A great antique early Victorian late Georgian snuff box made from papier mache with a romantic picture to the top with French writing "Ma Femme serra-t-elle vexe quand elle saura que j'etais derriere" which loosely translates into  "Will my wife be upset when she knows I was behind". Some wear and looks like a bit of overpainting to the top of the picture, commensurate with age and mentioned for complete accuracy otherwise in very good original condition. Measuring 9 cm in diameter x 2 cm high approx
