A very pretty little antique sterling silver pierced work basket with ribbon and bow handles. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1919. Maker Mappin & Webb. There are some black spots on the base of the basket which have cleaned off to some extent with ordinary silver polish, not sure how much more it would clean up, have not cleaned it too vigorously commensurate with age and mentioned for complete accuracy otherwise in good condition. Measuring 10 cm in diameter not including the handles, 14.5 cm wide including the handles x 3 cm high.  Weight 90.3 grams approx
