A WWI Crested China Tank which was made in England by Carlton China. It has the name of the tank 'Creme-de-Menthe' on the front and the letters HMLS on top which stands for His Majesty's Land Tank. On the side of the tank is 'Victory of Justice - Armistice of the Great War Signed Nov. 11th 1918. Underneath this is the inscription 'The British Tank Gave them Hell at Marne 1918'. The Battle of Marne refers to a battle in which 350 tanks overwhelmed the Germans leading to the start of the allied advance and subsequent German defeat Very good condition. Measuring 16 cm long x 6.5 cm high
